Fellowship Application

Our programming for 2025-2026 takes place online. Applications are accepted through July 31st, 2025.

Commitment Expectations: Participants are expected to dedicate 3-5 hours each week toward the program. This will consist of a 2-hour online group session each week and two or three hours of working on your own each week.

Participants will need access to internet and video conference technology (laptop, smartphone, or tablet). If you don’t have these things, don’t worry. We will make sure everyone who is accepted to the fellowship has everything they need to fully participate.

This is a paid opportunity. The fellowship is structured in three separate 8-week phases with ongoing compensation. Fellows are compensated through each phase, and those who continue on to complete all three phases described below will receive a total sum of $2500.

  • Phase 1 focuses on learning about the reproductive health, rights, and justice movements (October & November 2025)

  • Phase 2 focuses on movement ecology and direct advocacy actions (January & February 2026)

  • Phase 3 focuses on an individual project of your choosing (April & May 2026)

If you have had an abortion, live in Ohio, and are ready to learn more and actively engage in the movement for reproductive freedom, please apply below!

A Note to Applicants:
Studies have shown that women, trans, non-binary folks, and BIPOC are less likely to apply for fellowships unless they believe they meet every single one of the qualifications as described in the fellowship description. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive fellowship program, and we are most interested in finding the best candidates for P2A. Applicants may come from a background less traditional to this field, and that’s okay! We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't believe you meet every one of the qualifications described.

We are accepting applications through July 31st. Phone & video interviews will take place shortly after your application is received until early September. The online fellowship will begin in early October 2025.
