Samantha
Samantha went above and beyond for her capstone, planning an Abortion Care Package Fundraiser Party in addition to developing adult curriculum that taught about abortion care. The curriculum would take place over four sessions that were 1 hour each. It would also include a guidebook, 40+ pages in length that would be handed out to participants. Topics would cover abortion basics, abortion legislation in Ohio, and the relationship between abortion and religion. It was created with faith communities in Ohio as its primary audience.
“I want to convey that all abortions are valid. Reproductive choices are personal, and it doesn’t matter WHY someone needs to obtain an abortion because it is HEALTHCARE and a right.”
